About us
”Moon and Aries is a transatlantic music duo
(Jordana Moon – Canada / Tom Aries – Germany)
creating cinematic, emotionally immersive soundscapes that blend trip-hop, soul, and
atmospheric electronic music. Working across continents, the duo writes, performs, and
produces all music themselves — combining original songwriting, organic instrumentation,
and detailed production, with no AI-generated audio.
For the last 6 years, Moon and Aries have created over 25 songs. Having most of these songs on over 5k radio stations World wide, success in DJ pools with many songs ranking in the top 100, playing in hundreds of clubs, restaurants, hotels and cafes.
Their sound moves between intimacy and depth, pairing haunting vocals with layered textures of guitar, keys, and electronic elements. Rooted in themes of transformation, presence, and inner
landscapes, Moon and Aries create music that feels both
deeply personal and highly adaptable for visual storytelling.
They've been compared to the likes of Dusty Springfield, Massive Attack, Portishead and Kate Bush.
They also collaborate with select guest musicians,including Peter J. Mitchell (guitar) and Hanna Marchand (saxophone), further enriching their organic and human-centered sound.

SELECTED PLACEMENT
“Losing Control” was featured as the closing track in the Canadian independent documentary
What They Don’t Hear, accompanying the film’s final scene. The production is currently being
submitted to festival competitions.
